Thorsten Müller: The head behind the project, Thorsten Müller, a german by birth, has been a musician from early childhood on and was involved in a multitude of musical projects of diverse styles and genres as guitarrist, producer, DJ, engineer...When left untamed, Thorsten's own personal productions can only be summarized by the word "Fusion" in it's widest sense. Whatever the style of production, special importance is always put on a certain intensity, force and conviction in the compositions and arrangements, from the mildest to the wildest of numbers... School Education: Computer Background: -First computer in 1989, Commodore AMIGA 500, Due to his computer experience since childhood, Thorsten is at ease with all common computer platforms. Sequencing / Multitracking: -Logic Pro, Cubase 4/Nuendo/Cubase SX Music Education: 1980: Pre-school Musical Training (Singschule Höchstadt) From the extensive musical training stems his love for the hands-on feel of hardware instruments and analog signal paths, as well as a deep rooted and appreciation for skillful musical performances. Thorsten's Musical History: -Won various awards as child prodigy in piano competitions until the age of 14. All this while he is honing his skills, deepening his knowledge and understanding on groundbreaking technologies in music production, staying in touch with technical developments, training his ears, collecting experience in diverse musical fields and genres. During his musical career he was exposed to a wide variety of musical styles and developed an ability to keep a very open mind in musical taste, ranging from classical to trash metal, experimental and disturbing to etheric and spiritual sounds. However, he is favouring music which conveyes emotional extremes by skillfull craftmenship, compositinal unorthodoxy and sound esthetics.

Joanne Mendonça:
Born in 1984 & raised in Mumbai city , Joanne has been playing solo piano since age 3 . She is a versatile musician with a vast repetiore under her belt . The discovery of her love for music & intensly sharp ear for picking up sounds has led to the growth of this music prodigy . Her ability to play any piece under the sun is credited to her dedication , long practise hours & did we mention that sharp ear for music ?? Joanne
is a classical trained solo pianist & student of the Joanne is a Lobby/Bar Pianist by profession , completing a year at J.W.Marriott Hotel ,Mumbai , another year at Rennaissance Hotel Powai & 4 months at Novotel Hotel ,Hyderabad . She was also a member of the only indian all girl band 'The Real Thing' managed by Joe Alvares which travelled & performed various gigs/concerts in Mumbai ,Delhi , Pune . Joanne has also performed with indian based bands such as 'Second Skin' [Goa] , 'The Bassman Band' [Mumbai] & 'The Brown Indian Band' [Mumbai] . Joanne also has been a music teacher for the past 6 years at As a
composer , Joanne is fond of using sweet sounding melodies [bells & whistles]
which sometimes venture on feather ruffling paths . Her work is
characterized by their intellectual depth, their formal innovations,
and their intense, highly personal expression Being a versatile musician , it is no task for Joanne to adapt to different styles & genres of music with her own special touch . Her greatest influences include classical composers such as Beethoven , Mozart , Schubert , Bach , Rachmaninov as well as 60's psychedelic rock artist such as Pink Floyd , The Beatles , The Who , Grateful Dead , Rolling Stones , Jefferson Airplane , Janis Joplin , Jim Morrison , Jimi Hendrix , Led Zeppelin etc . Atmo Ketan Occupation: Creative Director of Video / Multimedia Dept., Video Director, Editor, Post Production, Graphic Design. HARDWARE UPGRADES: Euphonix MC Control: caused quite a stirr at it's introduction on this year's NAMM show. It is a fully featured mixing controller with 4 motorized faders, 8 rotary encoders, a set of 16 buttons, transport section and huge touchscreen for the ultimate hands-on of a hardware console. It takes the place of our Tascam DM-24 mixer which is currently obsolete, since recording of multitrack analog sources is no longer handled in-house at soundmatters.
Focusrite LiquidMix: an external DSP power processing unit, which emulates 40 legendary Compressors and 20 classic and modern Equalizers using Dynamic Convolution Technology(TM). A set of rotary encoders makes the use of the unit very intuitive and quick. Since Compressors and EQ's are the main working tools for the mixing engineer, LiquidMix enables us to mix much larger projects without draining the main computer CPU's recources and puts the sounds and behaviours of an unbelievable arsenal of legendary hardware at our hands. more info: www.focusrite.com
Presonuns Monitor Station: a passive monitor control unit that allows the engineer to monitor the audio signal at the full sample resolution of 0dB at the audio interface's outputs, thereby using the full sonic capabilities of the Equipment. It enbles us to switch seamlessly between 3 sound sources and destinations ie speaker for reference.
Native Instruments KORE 2: we recently upgraded the software component of our KORE system to KORE 2. The unit is mainly used for sound design and music production.
SOFTWARE UPGRADES Roger Nichols Digital Inspector XL: a Digital audio analysis suite featuring Spectrum Analyzer, Stereo Analyzer, Level Meter and Statistics Modules, and helps us analyze prperties of audio material which even the sharpest ears struggle to grasp, as well for the detection of potentially problematic frequencies and balances during the mixing sessions, thereby further streamlining our workflow.
